Respite Care

Carer and participant during a respite care session

Rest for Carers. Enriching Experiences for Participants.

Caring for someone you love is one of the most meaningful things a person can do. It is also one of the most demanding. Respite isn't about stepping away from that commitment - it's about sustaining it. When carers take time to rest, recharge, and look after their own health and wellbeing, they're better equipped to provide the love and support that makes such a difference.

At Pristine Care, our respite care service gives carers genuine peace of mind. We provide quality, trustworthy support to the participant - so carers can step back without worry. We support participants to have a positive, engaging experience during respite, whether that's at home, out in the community, or in short-term accommodation. We provide respite services across Victoria, New South Wales, and the ACT.

"I finally took a proper holiday for the first time in four years. Knowing my son was in safe, caring hands made all the difference. We'll definitely use Pristine Care again." - Parent and carer, Melbourne VIC
In-home respite care support worker

In-home respite: In-home respite sees one of our support workers come to the participant's home for a set period, providing all necessary care and engagement while the carer takes a break - even if just for an afternoon.

Short-term accommodation respite environment

Short-Term Accommodation (STA): Short-Term Accommodation (STA) - sometimes called respite accommodation - provides participants with a change of scenery and social opportunities while carers have more extended time away.
